This Privacy Policy explains how Space Bits S.L. ("we", "us") processes data in connection with Prop Slip Calculator (the "Site"). We keep this simple on purpose: the Site is a single calculator, it does not require an account, and it does not collect more data than it needs to.

2. Using the calculator

Filling in the Engine RPM, Gear Ratio, Propeller Pitch, and Actual GPS Speed fields and pressing "Calculate Prop Slip" does not save anything. The calculation happens on our server for that single request only and is immediately discarded once the page is returned to you.

3. What we store when you press "Share Result"

Only when you explicitly press Share Result do we store data. We save the values you entered (RPM, gear ratio, propeller pitch, actual speed), the calculated result (theoretical speed and prop slip percentage), and the date the record was created. This record is linked to a short, randomly generated code and is publicly viewable by anyone who has that code's URL (e.g. propslipcalculator.com/share/7kP3mQ9x).

We do not ask for or store your name, email address, or any other personal identifier as part of this record. If you would like a shared result removed, contact us at [email protected] with the share link and we will delete it.

4. Cookies and advertising

The Site itself does not use cookies to run the calculator or the Share feature. We intend to monetize the Site with Google AdSense once our application is approved. When Google ads are active, Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device to serve and measure ads, including for personalization where permitted. You can review how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. We will update this section and, where required, add a cookie consent mechanism before those cookies go live.

5. Other third-party services

The Site loads Bootstrap and jQuery from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) to keep the page fast. These providers may log standard technical access data (such as IP address) as part of serving those files, independent of us.

6. Legal basis and retention

We store shared results based on your explicit action (pressing Share Result) and our legitimate interest in providing the feature you asked for. Shared results are kept until you request deletion, as there is no account system to manage this yourself.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, and request portability, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect the data we store, and we deliberately avoid collecting personal data we don't need for the Site to work.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular once Google AdSense is active on the Site. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
